About Me

My photo
DiPrima Family
I am blessed with a very handsome, very wise and loving husband (married 10+ years), and two beautiful gifts from God- my son (5 yrs.) and daughter (3 yrs). I have entitled this blog "Dr. Mom" because after wanting a baby for 2 years, the Lord finally blessed us with our son the same year I graduated with my Ph.D. in School Psychology. I have always wanted to be a stay-at-home mommy, so it was not at all difficult for me to give up my full-time career at that time to stay home. It's just ironic that as soon as I got my Ph.D., I became a mother, so my husband always refers to me as Dr. Mom. I still consult and do psych. evaluations on a contract basis in local school systems, but my fulfillment is in our wonderful marriage and raising my children to love the Lord. I am so humbled by all of the Lord's blessings upon my life, and pray that I live each day to the fullest to bring honor and glory to His name.
